Jackson Township Approves 2026 Budget With 0% Municipal Tax Increase

Aug 14, 2026·1 min read

Jackson Township has officially adopted its 2026 municipal budget, delivering a 0% increase in municipal taxes for residents, Mayor Jennifer Kuhn announced Thursday.

The budget’s approval concludes a lengthy process aimed at balancing the Township’s operating and service needs while limiting additional financial pressure on local taxpayers.

“I’m proud to announce that our 2026 municipal budget is officially complete, and most importantly, we have delivered a 0% municipal tax increase for our residents,” Kuhn said.

Kuhn also addressed what she described as inaccurate information and political rhetoric surrounding the budget process, urging residents with questions to contact Township officials directly.

“There has been a lot said about this budget, and unfortunately, not all of it has been accurate,” Kuhn said. “I encourage any resident who has a question or concern to reach out to me directly. You deserve the facts, and I will always do my best to make sure you have them.”

Township officials said the budget reflects the administration’s focus on fiscal responsibility while maintaining municipal services for Jackson residents.
