Construction is moving steadily on the new permanent home of Semihai Shul, as crews continue making visible progress on the project adjacent to Good Samaritan Hospital.

The development will include a spacious new beis medrash together with a brand-new mikvah, creating a permanent center that will serve the growing communities throughout Rockland and Orange counties.

What began just six years ago, when the Rav recognized the need for a welcoming place for those coming to and from Good Samaritan Hospital, has grown far beyond its original vision with hundreds of families living in the area. What started as a small local shul has quietly become a regional makom Torah, tefillah, and chesed, welcoming and serving thousands of people from across the Hudson Valley and beyond.

After years of operating from its current location and becoming a familiar destination for families visiting the hospital, as well as residents from across the region, the new building is designed to meet the increasing demand for daily minyanim, Torah learning, and community gatherings.

Located just steps from Good Samaritan Hospital, the new complex will continue the shul's longstanding mission of serving patients, visitors, hospital staff, and residents from communities including Monsey, Airmont, Suffern, New Square, Monroe, Kiryas Joel, Woodbury, and beyond.
