Thousands of Vizhnitz Chassidim spent Shabbos in the presence of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe in Bnei Brak for the aufruf of his grandson, chosson Mordechai Hager, son of the Rebbe’s son-in-law, HaRav Menachem Mendel Hager.

Ahead of the simcha, the Rebbe returned to the Vizhnitz neighborhood in Bnei Brak from his vacation residence in Moshav Ora.

Throughout the Shabbos tefillos, the Rebbe recited Kaddish for his uncle, the Vizhnitzer Rebbe and author of the Damesek Eliezer, zy”a.

Following Shalosh Seudos on Motzei Shabbos, the Rebbe conducted the traditional “furshpiel” accompanied by music and spirited singing. During the celebration, the Rebbe enthusiastically encouraged the singing as the assembled Chassidim joined in the simcha.

The chasunah is scheduled to take place this coming Wednesday in the Vizhnitz Beis Medrash Hagadol in Bnei Brak, with thousands of Chassidim expected to participate.
