Congressman Mike Lawler received the endorsement of a broad coalition of law enforcement associations from across the Hudson Valley, New York City, and New York State during a “Cops for Mike Lawler” event held today at the Haverstraw Elks Lodge.
The endorsements came from the Rockland County PBA, Police Conference of New York, Port Authority PBA, Port Authority Sergeants Benevolent Association, Haverstraw PBA, Yorktown PBA, Carmel PBA, Carmel LBA, Westchester County Corrections Superior Officers Association, New York State Supreme Court Officers Association, and the Sergeants Benevolent Association of New York City.
Lawler thanked every association president and officer who attended the event, saying he was honored and proud to receive the support of organizations representing law enforcement officers across the region and state.
Lawler said he has always been proud to stand with the men and women in blue and will continue backing officers who put their lives on the line to protect their communities. He said law enforcement deserves leaders who will provide officers with the support and resources necessary to do their jobs safely and effectively.
The endorsements highlighted Lawler’s strong backing among law enforcement organizations as he campaigns for reelection to Congress in November.
