JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (August 18, 2026)
Jake Turx is a senior White House correspondent and a prominent Jewish journalist known for his coverage of the Trump administration and U.S. politics.
In a recent proposal, Turx outlined what he believes could become a massive real estate opportunity while simultaneously addressing the unique housing and lifestyle needs of Orthodox Jews from the United States looking to build their lives in Israel.
Here is his proposal in full:
“Read my EIGHT-BILLION-DOLLAR IDEA:
Build a development in Eretz Yisroel specifically designed around the unique needs, standards and lifestyle of Orthodox Jews from America. Build it right, and I believe the homes will sell fast and furious. One bold developer who understands this market stands to make a lot of money.
Then don’t stop at one.
Once the first development is thriving, use it as the prototype. Replicate the model across Israel. Build communities around the people you actually want to attract rather than expecting those people to squeeze themselves into communities designed for somebody else.
Fill one. Build another. Fill that one. Keep going and don’t look back.
There are 1.5 million potential customers waiting across the ocean.
I just have one request for whoever makes billions off my idea:
Remember to give maaser!”
