The MTA is calling on photographers, content creators and everyday riders to submit their best transit photos ahead of World Photo Day on August 19.

The agency announced that it is looking for creative photos taken throughout the New York transit system, ranging from trains and buses to station scenes, scenic platform views and photos of riders with friends.

Submissions can also include outfit photos taken inside stations and other creative shots highlighting New York’s transit system from a rider’s perspective.

Those interested in participating can email their photos to [email protected] and include their social media handles so the MTA can provide credit.

The MTA plans to select its favorite submissions and feature them across the agency’s social media channels on August 19 in celebration of World Photo Day.
