Trump-Endorsed Jewish Rep. Randy Fine Wins FL-06 GOP Primary, Defeats Jew-Hater Dan Bilzerian
Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL), a Trump-endorsed Jewish congressman and one of Congress’s most outspoken defenders of Israel, won his Republican primary Tuesday in Florida’s 6th Congressional District, defeating social media personality Dan Bilzerian and two other challengers. The Associated Press called the race with Fine taking 56.8% of the vote to Bilzerian’s 17.9%.
The primary drew national attention after Bilzerian, who describes himself as “anti-Zionist,” ran a campaign that included an AI-generated video attacking Fine’s Jewish identity with antisemitic language, along with public statements about “Jewish supremacy.” The rhetoric prompted condemnation from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and other leaders on both sides of the aisle ahead of the vote. A swastika was also spray-painted on one of Fine’s campaign signs at an early polling location during the race.
Antisemite Bilzerian, who has more than 25 million social media followers, self-funded much of his campaign and significantly outspent Fine, though it was not enough to overcome the incumbent’s lead. Also competing in the primary were Sorrento activist Aaron Baker and Palm Coast City Council Member Charles Gambaro.
Fine said after his win: “We won! And it won’t be close,” thanking President Trump, Sens. Rick Scott and Ted Cruz, and Speaker Johnson, and added: “To those who wasted $3 million funneled through a fake political committee, you’re going to prison.”
Fine, who won the seat in an April 2025 special election to fill the vacancy left by then-Rep. Mike Waltz, now heads into the general election as the heavy favorite in a district where more than 64% of voters supported President Trump in 2024. A Democratic primary will determine his November opponent.
