Brick Township has announced application procedures for its 2026-2027 Beach Vehicle Permits, with Brick residents getting the first opportunity to apply beginning Thursday, September 10.

Applications will be accepted exclusively from Brick Township residents on September 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with proof of residency required. Beginning Friday, September 11, applications will open to all applicants and may be submitted in person or by mail. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

A total of 200 permits will be issued at a cost of $35 each. The permits will be valid from October 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027.

Vehicle inspections will be scheduled in 30-minute time slots to reduce wait times, and applicants must bring all required documents and equipment to their inspection. Permits will either be mailed or made available for pickup during the week following the inspection.
