COLOMBIA (VINnews) – Israeli Defense Forces humanitarian delegation teams, working with local rescue forces, have located and rescued all missing people at the impact sites where they operated and continue assisting at other sites, the IDF said.

The teams are also assessing buildings and conducting professional surveys of damaged structures to help city decision-makers develop an updated situational assessment. The work aims to enable educational and healthcare institutions to resume operations and allow the city to return to normal functioning as soon as possible.

To date, dozens of buildings have been surveyed. Most have been approved for use, while some have been deemed unsafe. On Wednesday, the delegation’s experts approved the safe return of more than 250 families to their homes.
