A tractor-trailer knocked down a pedestrian traffic signal while making a turn at the intersection of Prospect Street and Route 9 in Lakewood on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. as the tractor-trailer was turning onto Route 9. The truck struck the pedestrian signal, bringing it down at the intersection.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and the truck remained there following the incident.

No injuries were reported. The incident caused traffic backups in the area while crews worked at the scene.
