Major excavation work is now underway at 10 Ashel Lane in Kaser, bringing one of the village’s largest planned developments into a new and highly visible stage as heavy equipment begins reshaping the property.
As previously reported by Rockland Daily in late May, the project follows the $17.5 million sale of the property, together with approximately $55 million in construction and financing commitments for a massive new mixed-use complex combining residential and commercial space.
Plans call for around 100 residential units, along with major commercial component that is expected to include retail space, a planned urgent care center, and a grocery store serving Kaser and the surrounding area. The project is set to bring a substantial amount of new housing and essential services into the highly demanded Vishnitz neighborhood.
Now, with excavators actively working across the property, the development is no longer just visible on paper and in renderings. The massive project is beginning to take shape on the ground, marking a major step forward for the future of Ashel Lane and the surrounding Kaser area.
