William P. Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps is inviting local families to come out and enjoy a free Community Day packed with activities, treats, and an opportunity to meet local first responders.
The event will take place Sunday, August 30, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at 3 Red Schoolhouse Road in Chestnut Ridge.
Families can look forward to bouncy houses and face painting, along with popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, back-to-school giveaways, and much more.
The Community Day will also give children and families an opportunity to meet some of the local first responders serving the area, including members of the Ramapo Police Department, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and Spring Valley Police Department.
Hosted by the William P. Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the afternoon is designed as a fun community outing for the entire family as the final days of summer wind down and the new school year approaches.
The event is free to attend, with families from across the community invited to join the fun beginning at 12:30 p.m.
