Video footage from June has recently surfaced and is circulating online showing medical students at Aleppo University in Syria chanting about violence against Jews at their graduation ceremony.

At the ceremony, one student led the others in chants of, “We are coming, Jew; we will make your blood flow like rivers.” They also chanted, “I’m coming for you, Jew, even through mountains of fire, and I’ll make ammunition from your blood, and I’ll make rivers from your blood.”

The video, which is making the rounds now on social media, is sparking concerns among international observers and Jewish advocacy groups about the disdain for human life from people entering the medical profession.

“Nothing says the Hippocratic oath like chanting: ‘We are coming, Jew, we will make your blood flow like rivers’ at your Med school graduation,” Emily Schrader, a human rights activist and Jewish activist, posted on X.

“Medical graduates of Aleppo University in Syria, chanting: ‘We are coming, Jew, we will make your blood flow like rivers,'” wrote Dan Burmawi, an author of a book on Islam and the West. “Of course, Gaza has nothing to do with this.”

“This is what Muhammad taught them when he promised that the Muslims will kill the Jews to the last one, and what Muhammad himself did to the Jews of the Arabian Peninsula,” he added. “Intelligence and a medical degree do not override Islam. A Muslim who takes Islam seriously, and that is most Muslims, may never participate in jihad himself, but he will support it wholeheartedly.”
