Those who need emergency or non-emergency walk-in assistance at the Stony Point Police Station over the next few weeks may find access to the lobby and police desk limited as construction continues at the facility on Route 210.

The project includes the replacement of the front steps, entrance area, surrounding sidewalks, and stairs at the Stony Point police station, located at 79 Route 210.

The department said the work is expected to continue over the next few weeks. During that time, access to the station lobby, police desk, and other public police services will remain limited or difficult to access.

Anyone who needs walk-in assistance at the station should call the Stony Point Police Department at 845-786-2422, and a police officer will come outside to assist them.

The department thanked residents for their patience and cooperation while the improvements are completed. For emergencies, residents should always continue calling 911 for the fastest emergency response.
