Residents across the Lower Hudson Valley may spot military fighter jets flying overhead Tuesday morning as part of a planned flyover.

F-18 aircraft are scheduled to fly approximately 2,500 feet above the Hudson River at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25.

The aircraft will travel north along the Hudson River, beginning near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and continuing toward the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.

The flyover is planned, and residents should not be alarmed by the sight or sound of the low-flying military aircraft.
