The Sanzer Rebbe of Boro Park, Harav Boruch Halberstam, zt”l, was niftar tonight at age 70 after a prolonged illness.
A descendant of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and son-in-law of the Kosson-Kozova Rebbe, he was known as a pillar of hachnasas orchim in Boro Park, opening his doors to hundreds.
