We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Fradel (Frances) Klein, the daughter of the legendary Reb Yosef Dov Hakohen Lieberman, z"l, the longtime menahel of the Zehlimer Yeshiva in Williamsburg, and she was always proud to be the daughter of a kohen.
Mrs. Klein was in the first class of Beis Yaakov High School in Williamsburg and was a true pioneer of the school and a prominent talmidah of Rebbetzin Vichna Kaplan.
She truly represented the first generation of Beis Yaakov, and always spoke to the younger generations with great pride, exhorting them not to take their beis Yaakov education for granted.
After her marriage, she resided in Willliamsburg after which she moved to Boro Park and raised a beautiful Torah family.
Her motto was ivdu es Hashem b'simcha, and she truly lived a life of joy in service of Hashem.
She left this world on Monday afternoon at the age of 95, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy and beautiful Torah generations.
The levaya is taking place in Monsey, where she resided for the last decade, at Rabbi Twersky's shul on Glenbrook Road at 11:00.
Yehi zichra baruch.
