The 43-year-old Whiting man who was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle at County Route 530 and Swift Circle on August 9 has died from his injuries, Manchester Township Police announced.

Richard J. Fescharek passed away on August 14 after suffering multiple life-threatening injuries in the crash. Police said the investigation remains ongoing, with improper pedestrian crossing believed to be a contributing factor.
