
Five Spring Valley Establishments Cited for Alcohol Violations; One Shut Down for Serving Underage Patrons
Spring Valley Police and investigators from the New York State Liquor Authority conducted a joint enforcement operation at several bars and restaurants across Spring Valley, finding Alcoholic Beverage Control violations at each of the five establishments inspected.
The operation took place on August 21 and included inspections at El Ray Del Pollo at 80 East Route 59, Papusa Magica Restaurant & Bar at 96 East Route 59, El Rodeo Steakhouse at 180 East Route 59, El Pollo Grande Restaurant at 39 South Main Street, and Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar at 180 East Route 59.
According to Spring Valley Police, violations of the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control laws were identified at all five locations.
The most significant findings were reported at Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar, where investigators said they discovered a large number of patrons under the age of 21 who had allegedly been served and were in possession of alcoholic beverages. Several additional violations were also identified.
As a result of the findings, Guadalajara Restaurant and Bar was shut down for the evening.
The New York State Liquor Authority will handle the continued investigation into the violations.
