Former Sinwar Bodyguard, Second Hamas Nukhba Terrorist Who Raided IDF Base on Oct. 7 Killed in Gaza Strikes
The IDF says two Hamas Nukhba Force terrorists who participated in the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, including a former bodyguard of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, were killed in separate strikes in southern Gaza this week.
Hazem Musa was killed Sunday in Khan Younis. According to the military, Musa was a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force and took part in the October 7 assault on the IDF’s Re’im Base near the Gaza border.

A day later, another strike in Khan Younis killed Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shahma, who the IDF says was also a Nukhba terrorist involved in the attack on the Re’im Base. Abu Shahma had previously served as Sinwar’s bodyguard.
The IDF says both men had recently been working to rebuild Hamas’s capabilities and advance attacks against Israeli troops and civilians, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. The military said the strikes were carried out to eliminate the threats they posed.
