Lakewood Fire Department Takes Delivery Of New 75-Foot Tower Ladder
The Lakewood Fire Department this week officially took delivery of a new 2026 Seagrave 75-foot AerialScope Tower Ladder, marking a major addition to the department’s firefighting fleet.
The new apparatus was ordered in 2022 and represents a significant investment in the department’s emergency response capabilities and public safety.
Lakewood Fire Chief Jonathan Yahr and Board of Fire Commissioners Chairman Yakov Steinberg were on hand to formally accept delivery of the new truck.
Before entering service, the apparatus will be sent to a detail and upfit facility, where graphics will be installed and the truck will be outfitted with the equipment needed for operations.
Once the work is completed, the new tower ladder will officially be placed into service with the Lakewood Fire Department, expanding the department’s capabilities in responding to fires and other emergencies throughout the Lakewood area.
