LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Aug. 31, 2026) — National political attention has turned toward the annual Republican Jewish Coalition gathering, where senior administration figures and top foreign policy leaders are convening for high-level discussions on defense priorities, Middle East strategy, and domestic alliances.

Vice President JD Vance is slated to address attendees during a closed-door session on Monday. Among other prominent dignitaries participating in the summit are Indiana Senator Jim Banks and Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter. The presence of these officials highlights the deep strategic coordination between congressional leadership, diplomatic envoys, and the executive branch.

According to recent reports, the decision to hold the address outside the presence of the general press corps has drawn significant interest across the political spectrum.

Investigative Journalist Laura Loomer shared the following thoughts: “Vice President JD Vance’s speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition on Monday, August 31st has now been listed as “CLOSED PRESS”.

Also in attendance at JD’s speech will be Jim Banks and Yechiel Leiter, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States. The VP and Senator Banks have consulted with each other on staffing decisions, and they are close friends with many of the same advisors.

It’s great that they are both attending. It’s too bad this speech is now “CLOSED PRESS”.

This is an opportunity for the Vice President to speak directly to Jewish, Evangelical and and pro-Israel Americans and let it be known definitively that he wants to distance himself from the views of the Woke Reich and their isolationist, anti-Israel foreign policy which is not America First. I personally think it’s a good opportunity for the VP if done the right way, and I think he should welcome the press. I’d like to see the media broadcast a powerful speech by the VP in which he condemns Tucker Qatarlson and the Jihadists and Islamic communists who are working hand in hand to destroy our country ahead of November.

Tucker has declared war on the GOP anyway by creating a third party to be the Nazified Ross Perot of 2028. Everyone should condemn him. This would be a defining speech for the Vice President’s political career and it’s a great opportunity if he takes advantage of it.

VP Vance certainly knows how to speak to reporters and answer questions. I hope he welcomes the media. I look forward to his speech.”
