WOODMERE, N.Y. (Aug. 31, 2026) — This past Friday, three boys sat along Hewlett Neck Road in Woodmere with a table, a large drink dispenser and a small box for tzedakah.

They weren’t selling lemonade. They were offering drinks to passersby so they could make a bracha l’iluy nishmas Allison “Ally” Rahmani, a”h, who tragically passed away. They also collected donations to tzedakah in her memory.

A man who was biking by told 5TC how moved he was by the scene:

“I thought this was something that was so special! They told me they got 65 brachos so far. It was amazing to see how much they care.”
