The removal of Members of Knesset R’ Moshe Gafni and R’ Uri Maklev from the Yahadut HaTorah party list brings the party, after years, to finally bring in new and younger forces.
Belaaz presents the new names:
According to the finalized arrangements: heading the party will be MK Yaakov Asher, in second place Yitzchak Pindrus, and in third place Moshe Rosenthal, who currently serves as a driver for Hagaon Reb Landau and works for the Bnei Brak municipality.
In fourth place is Yehuda Weisfish of Ichud Bnei HaYeshivos, close with Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch. Today, Weisfish’s father sadly passed away.
Belaaz has learned that Harav Hirsch called him after the levaya and asked him to take the position, which he agreed to.
In fifth place is Dudi Zelts, currently deputy mayor of Beitar Illit, who previously served as an assistant to MK Yaakov Asher.
