Relief in Belz: Belzer Rebbe Expected to Be Released From Hospital Ahead of Rosh Hashanah
Encouraging news emerged Tuesday evening from Belz, with the family of the Belzer Rebbe reporting a significant improvement in his condition and plans for his release from Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Wednesday.
Following his discharge, the Rebbe is expected to return to Kiryat Belz in Yerushalayim, where preparations are underway for him to lead the tefillos and seder hayom of the Yomim Noraim together with thousands of Belzer chassidim arriving from across Eretz Yisroel and abroad.
The encouraging development has brought considerable relief to Belzer chassidim, who have been anxiously following the Rebbe’s condition over the past several days.
Earlier Tuesday, the Vizhnitzer Rebbe visited his brother-in-law, the Belzer Rebbe, at Hadassah Ein Kerem. It was their second meeting at the hospital, following another visit on Monday.
Meanwhile, preparations in Kiryat Belz are continuing in anticipation of Rosh Hashanah, when thousands of chassidim are expected to gather in Yerushalayim to spend the Yom Tov in the presence of the Rebbe and participate in the tefillos under his leadership.
