NJ Transit announced that free Wi-Fi is now available on more than 1,500 buses across New Jersey as part of a major technology upgrade.

The new onboard equipment is also expected to improve real-time bus tracking and provide more accurate arrival predictions for passengers.

NJ Transit plans to install the technology on nearly 2,000 buses, representing more than 80% of its fleet, by the end of 2026.
