Nighttime milling and paving work on Bethel Church Road is scheduled to begin today, Monday, September 14, weather permitting. Milling will take place Monday and Tuesday, followed by paving on Wednesday, with work scheduled nightly from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Westbound traffic will be closed at Friendship Road in Howell during the work. Eastbound traffic will remain open until 9:00 PM, after which Bethel Church Road will be fully closed until 4:00 AM. Detour signs will be posted.

Thursday is being reserved as a weather or backup day. Roadway striping is scheduled for Friday during daytime hours, with alternating traffic expected. Motorists should plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time.
