Another step has been approved in the ongoing Maimonides takeover process. However, askanim involved in the case stressed that this particular approval was expected and, in practical terms, does not clear the way for the sale to be finalized.

Askanim reiterated that the takeover still faces many separate steps, approvals, and roadblocks on multiple levels, with each stage presenting its own challenges. They urged residents, hospital staff, and community partners not to view individual approvals as signs that the takeover is now moving toward completion or that opposition efforts have run their course.
