If you know you know. It’s erev yom tov on Shamgar.
Fathers and sons stopping traffic as they schlep schach across the street. Seminary girls weaving between strollers with iced coffees balanced like trophies. Kids on scooters trailing shopping bags and glittery chains past buckets of aravos. Tourists stand agog, not quite sure how to take it all in. Visiting chassidim of nearby Chassidic courts add their own rhythm. It's mayhem with a purpose, a geshmake matzav you hear from three blocks away.
You know this corner. You might even love it best at this exact time of year, when the whole neighborhood runs on frenetic energy and a halo of kedusha.
It’s an undiluted experience of Yerushalayim’s modern pulse but man cannot live on adrenaline alone. Still, who wants to miss out?
What if you could come home and close the door while still enjoying being right there?
Y38 is rising right off the intersection of Yirmiyahu and Shamgar.
It’s a boutique architectural wonder in a landscape of housing complexes. Designed by Feigin Architects with extra-spacious rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows pulling in Yerushalayim's golden light. Amenities are your everyday indulgence. A residents' shul and a full gym. A spa and a simcha hall. Three levels of underground parking. And a business lounge for the calls you can't push off. Even a limited number of private mikvas available for purchase. Snag one now and you can still add your sauna too.
And when you want some live action? The geshmake matzav is right outside.
Construction is underway.
If you're lucky to be in Yerushalayim for Sukkos, come stand on the corner of Yirmiyahu and Shamgar and picture owning both the vibe and the quiet.
