Plans have been finalized in the Skulen for a large Hachnosas Sefer Torah, which will take place during Chol Hamoed Sukkos.

Two years after the petirah of the Skulen Rebbe, the Yeshuas Yaakov, zt”l, a beautiful Sefer Torah written by members of the community in his memory has now been completed. The Sefer Torah will be brought into the Skulen Beis Medrash in Boro Park, the historic shul where the Rebbe zt”l led his avodas hakodesh during his years as Rebbe, continuing the holy work of his father, the Skulen Rebbe, the Me’or Yisroel, zt”l.

The Hachnosas Sefer Torah is scheduled for Monday, the first day of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, which is the day of the Ushpizin of Yaakov Avinu, like the Rebbe, the Yeshuas Yaakov, zt”l.

More plans will be released it as of now, the dancing will take place in the large sukkah in front of the Beis Medrash on 54th Street, together with a Simchas Beis Hashoevah featuring music and dancing.
