Detailed plans have been revealed for the new Building of Simcha and Chesed being developed on the property where the old Bobov Talmud Torah building, formerly the Novominsk Talmud Torah, was recently demolished, as previously reported on BoroPark24.
The new eight-story building will include several simcha halls that will allow families to celebrate simchos at affordable rates through the Bobover “Chaim Shel Shalom” organization , which helps families save tens of thousands of dollars on wedding expenses. The additional halls will expand on the existing halls in the Bnos Zion building and provide additional space to meet the growing demand.
The building will also include dozens of rooms for hachnosas orchim, providing accommodations for the many guests who travel to Boro Park to spend time in the presence of the Rebbe shlit”a around Yom Tov and other occasions.
In addition, the facility will house numerous offices and rooms for Bobov’s various chesed organizations and activities, providing additional space to expand the community’s charitable work and services.
According to the plans, the project is now approaching the final stages before construction begins.
