In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a range of international and regional security challenges.
He began by criticizing delegates who left the hall during his arrival, labeling them moral cowards.
Netanyahu focused heavily on the existential threat he argues Iran poses to Israel and the global community, emphasizing his long-standing opposition to Iran’s nuclear program and military activities.
He described the October 7th attacks by Hamas as the darkest day in Israel’s history and framed the ongoing conflict as a multi-front war for national survival.
He also completely torched Mamdani for just about everything.
Throughout his address, the Prime Minister rejected allegations of genocide against Israel, asserting that the country takes extensive measures to protect civilian life and that the military campaign is focused on defeating terrorist organizations.
He also criticized international media and specific leaders for their stances on the war, accusing some of perpetuating anti-semitic falsehoods.
Furthermore, Netanyahu touched upon the role of countries like Qatar and Turkey in the regional conflict, alleging their involvement in supporting hostile entities.
He concluded by reaffirming the historical connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel and expressing his conviction that the nation will prevail against its enemies, citing historical resilience and the necessity of self-defense.
