The IDF eliminated Izz al-Din Bik, commander of Hamas’s Northern Gaza Brigade, in the Gaza Strip overnight.

According to the IDF, Bik was involved in planning terror attacks against Israeli forces and worked to recruit new operatives into the terror organization.

The strike comes amid growing concern in recent days that Hamas is preparing to kidnap soldiers stationed near its operatives in the security zone inside Gaza.

The Prime Minister’s Office said this morning: “We will continue to hunt down and pursue all of the organization’s terrorists, from its commanders to its last operative, wherever they hide — until there is no Hamas in Gaza.”
