The Spring Valley Police Department officially welcomed its newest member Wednesday morning as Officer Lejoe Endanattu was sworn in during a ceremony at Village Hall.

The ceremony was held in the Village Hall rotunda, where Endanattu formally took the oath of office and began his first day as a member of the Spring Valley Police Department.

Spring Valley Police Chief Richard Oleszczuk and Mayor Schenley Vital addressed those gathered for the ceremony, welcoming Endanattu to the department and speaking about officer Endanattu hard work and dedication that brought him to this milestone.

Village and police officials expressed their excitement to have Endanattu join the force and wished him success as he begins serving and protecting residents throughout Spring Valley.

The addition of Officer Endanattu marks the newest addition to the Spring Valley Police Department as the village continues working to strengthen public safety and serve the growing village community.
