A major renovation of the Pearl River Public Library is well underway, as work continues on the Library Renewal Project to modernize the building and expand services for residents of the Pearl River School District.

The project is renovating the existing library to address space shortages and accessibility issues while creating additional room for programs and community services. ([Pearl River Library][2])

Plans include an expanded Children’s Room with dedicated program space, along with additional meeting areas designed to accommodate groups of different sizes.

The renewed library will also feature upgraded technology infrastructure and additional spaces for reading, studying, programs and other community uses.

The library is working toward reopening the renovated facility in early 2027. ([Pearl River Library][3])
