Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that 4,000 of the 6,000 terrorists who crossed into Israel during the October 7 massacre have been eliminated, and issued a direct warning to the 2,000 who remain.

“6,000 terrorists crossed the border into Israel on October 7 and carried out the atrocities,” Katz said. “Of them, 4,000 have been eliminated so far, and 2,000 remain.”

Katz said the directive to the military applies to every one of them, regardless of rank.

“The instruction from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and myself to the IDF and all security bodies is sharp and clear: beyond the supreme goal of dismantling Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza, to pursue and eliminate all of them, without limitation and in any situation, from the senior ones to the junior ones,” he said.

The statement comes two days before the third anniversary of the attack.
