MAJOR BREAKING: Knesset Probe Reveals Syrian, Lebanese and Omani Aircrew Entered Israel
A classified Knesset hearing was told Tuesday that 1,240 airline crew members from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel had entered the country, including citizens of Syria, Lebanon and Oman. The disclosures emerged during an Intelligence Subcommittee examination of security failures surrounding the attempted terror attack aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073.
According to i24NEWS, a Transportation Ministry representative was surprised by the figures, said he had been unaware of them and asked to submit a formal inquiry on the issue.

The hearing also addressed tighter screening. Ynet reports that the National Security Council was asked to coordinate with the Mossad and Shin Bet on identifying high-risk countries, with crew lists from those countries to be submitted 48 hours before flights to Israel for security review and approval.
“The face of civil aviation in Israel will change from today,” committee chairman Boaz Bismuth said afterward, adding that the relevant agencies would be required to complete internal reviews and provide clear answers.
