
USPS Employee Arrested Following Jackson Township Police Operation, Faces Weapons Charges
A United States Postal Service employee was taken into custody following a law enforcement operation in Jackson Township on Sunday, October 5.
According to the Jackson Township Police Department, its Special Response Team (SRT), working alongside Federal Postal Police, conducted an operation to arrest the USPS employee in connection with an incident that occurred in the township on September 26.
Police said the individual was taken into custody without incident.
The employee was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal attempt, criminal mischief and harassment.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the September 26 incident or the circumstances that led to the charges.
