A new cemetery is being established in Monsey, providing hundreds of new burial plots.
The new cemetery, named “Chelkas Chassidim” was recently purchased following years of discussions by Skulen askanim and with the guidance of the Skulen Rebbes.
The cemetery is located near the existing Skulen section in the Vizhnitz Cemetery, where the Skulen Rebbes are buried, and will be accessible from both Bridge Church Road and the Monsey Cemetery.
The new cemetery will serve the Skulen communities in Boro Park, Williamsburg, Monsey, Lakewood and Yerushalayim. A dedicated chevra kadisha is also being established to oversee the cemetery and handle its needs.
