Another Flydubai In The Making? EgyptAir Pilot’s Disturbing Message About El Al Raises Alarm

Oct 8, 2026·2 min read

Just days after the reported Flydubai cockpit attack that nearly ended in catastrophe, another airline pilot is raising serious questions about aviation security.

An EgyptAir pilot identified as Osama Mansour, who uses the Instagram handle @OsaPilot, posted footage of an Israeli El Al aircraft at an airport in Italy. The exact airport has not been confirmed.

But what makes the video particularly disturbing is the audio Mansour reportedly chose.

It features former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat declaring:

“An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and violence for violence.”

These weren’t just random words.

Sadat delivered that warning on October 16, 1973, during the Yom Kippur War, just ten days after Egypt launched its surprise offensive against Israeli forces in Sinai.

In that speech, Sadat warned that Egypt possessed missiles capable of striking deep inside Israel and was prepared to retaliate militarily.

In other words, the pilot reportedly selected audio from a wartime speech specifically directed at Israel, not simply a generic patriotic message.

And there’s more.

The Arabic caption accompanying the video translates to “A surprise entrance that shakes things up,” alongside an Egyptian flag 🇪🇬, a smiling emoji 😊 and a flexing bicep 💪.

The post reportedly remains publicly visible on his Instagram account.

The timing is particularly unsettling following the reported September 30 Flydubai incident, in which a co-pilot allegedly attacked the captain and attempted to bring down an aircraft carrying Israeli passengers. Israeli passengers reportedly intervened and helped avert catastrophe.

Could this be another warning sign that aviation authorities cannot afford to overlook?

While Mansour’s post does not establish any intention to attack an aircraft, the combination of wartime threats against Israel, footage of an Israeli passenger plane and language suggesting a surprise entrance raises legitimate questions.

Has EgyptAir reviewed the video? Has the pilot been questioned about his intentions? Are aviation authorities investigating?

After Flydubai, should airlines be taking messages like these more seriously before it’s too late?
