The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of more than $315,000 from the bank accounts of a 71-year-old woman in Williamsburg.

Police said the victim was alerted on July 22 that multiple unauthorized transactions had been made from her bank accounts, in the vicinity of Division Avenue and Keap Street. The transactions, which occurred between July 22 and August 11, totaled $315,741.

During the investigation, detectives determined that an unidentified individual entered multiple Chase Bank locations throughout Queens and made withdrawals from several accounts belonging to the woman.

The NYPD has released an image of the individual being sought and is asking anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
