SCOOP: Israel Raises Alert for Possible Iranian Attack After Trump’s No-Strike Pledge
Israel has raised its alert level and stepped up security preparations for a possible Iranian attack, Army sources tell Belaaz. This comes just hours after President Trump’s Truth Social post in which he said the US won’t attack Iran before the midterm elections.

President Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Thursday that the United States will not attack Iran before the midterm elections.
"We will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the Midterm Elections to be held in the United States on November 3rd," Trump wrote on Truth Social. He said his administration was having "productive discussions" with Tehran.
Trump also said the U.S. blockade would remain in place and reiterated that Iran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.
Iran’s last reported direct attack on Israel came on June 8, 2026, during an exchange of fire that began the previous night. Tehran launched missiles on June 7 and fired further barrages the following morning, before the two sides said they were halting attacks. The BBC reported that the June 8 launches were directed toward Jerusalem and central and southern Israel.
