BREAKING: New Square Endorses Governor Kathy Hochul for Reelection
In a significant political development ahead of next month’s gubernatorial election, the New Square community has endorsed New York Governor Kathy Hochul for reelection, delivering a notable show of support as she seeks another term in Albany.
The endorsement comes just weeks before the November 3 election, in which Hochul faces Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County Executive.
Throughout her tenure, Hochul has maintained close ties with the Orthodox Jewish community, regularly meeting with Rabbanim and community leaders and working with heimishe communities across New York.
In August, Hochul visited Kiryas Skvere in Sullivan County, where she participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking a new development in the community.
The New Square endorsement underscores the strong relationship cultivated between the community and the governor’s office over the course of Hochul’s time in Albany, providing her campaign with a significant show of support at a pivotal moment in the race.
With less than a month remaining before Election Day, the endorsement comes as both campaigns intensify their efforts to secure support across New York, with particular attention on key community voting blocs that could prove consequential in a closely contested election.
