Iran remains “well-stocked” with ballistic missiles and some anti-ship weapons despite months of U.S. and Israeli strikes, Bloomberg reported, citing a Western official familiar with the assessments.
Western officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private assessments, said Tehran has also preserved its missile and drone production capacity, allowing it to replenish its arsenal.
The official who described Iran’s stockpiles also said Russia is supplying Iran with missiles. Russia’s Defense Ministry did not respond to Bloomberg’s request for comment.
The White House rejected the assessment. Principal Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told Bloomberg that U.S. operations had destroyed Iran’s ballistic missiles, production facilities and navy, along with the conventional defenses surrounding its nuclear program.
