Oct 11, 2026·1 min read

Israel Police announced Sunday the arrest of an Arab youth in his 20s on suspicion of intending to carry out an imminent terror attack.

Police said they had received an alert that the young man intended to carry out a terror attack near Maale Adumim in Judea and immediately combed the area, setting up checkpoints in the Jerusalem Envelope and conducting an extensive search. They said they found the suspect near the village of Al Eizariya in Judea with a knife in his possession, along with a glass filled with nails and stuffed with paper, which they believe he meant to ignite before hurling it at civilians.
