FedEx Driver Wins Hearts in Lakewood by Playing Hasidic Music for Jewish Children
A FedEx driver in Lakewood is going viral after video surfaced of him playing Hasidic music while making his deliveries, all for one simple reason: to put a smile on the faces of the Jewish children along his route.
The non-Jewish driver took the time to learn songs by Hershy Weinberger and other Hasidic artists, bringing a little extra joy to the children he encounters each day.
“The music is so positive. How can you not like it?” he said.
Now, the heartwarming story has reached Hershy Weinberger himself. After seeing the viral video, the singer is searching for the FedEx driver, hoping to meet him and perform a duet together.
What started as one delivery driver’s thoughtful gesture has turned into a feel-good moment that is bringing smiles to people well beyond his usual route.
