Satmar philanthropist Yoily Landau has committed to supporting Republican New York gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman’s campaign, Belaaz is told, following a meeting in Williamsburg on Sunday.

Blakeman’s campaign told Belaaz that the discussion focused on expanding housing opportunities, making homeownership more affordable, protecting yeshiva education, increasing school choice and keeping neighborhood streets safe.

The campaign said Blakeman’s priorities include preventing families from being priced out of Williamsburg, safeguarding religious institutions from government intrusion and ensuring children can grow up in safe neighborhoods.
