Airmont Resident Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize on Ticket Bought in Suffern

By Y.M. Lowy

An Airmont resident is $1 million richer after claiming a top prize on a New York Lottery scratch-off ticket purchased at a Suffern convenience store.

Pasquale Guido claimed the prize on the Lottery’s $1,000,000 50X Cashword scratch-off game. The winning ticket was sold at M & M Super Shoppe on Lafayette Avenue in Suffern.

Guido received a lump-sum payment of $436,173 after required tax withholdings.

The winning ticket is one of several top prizes available in the game. Three additional $1 million top prizes remain, meaning other players still have a chance to claim one of the remaining prizes.
