The Lakewood Fire Department held a special apparatus display Tuesday afternoon at Fire Headquarters on Cedarbridge Avenue, giving members of the public and press an opportunity to get an up-close look at some of the department’s newest emergency vehicles and specialized equipment.

The event, hosted by the Lakewood Board of Fire Commissioners and the Lakewood Fire Department, featured a new tower ladder truck, a new RAC unit, and a new collapse rescue trailer.

The display highlighted the department’s latest additions to its emergency response resources, including equipment designed to support firefighting operations and specialized rescue situations.
