Oct 15, 2026·2 min read

Agudath Israel of America will host a special Asifas Hisorerus V’Hoda’ah this Motzoei Shabbos, Parshas Noach, October 17, in Brooklyn, bringing together members of the community for an evening of gratitude to Hakadosh Boruch Hu following the extraordinary and miraculous Flydubai rescue.

The gathering, being held in conjunction with Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin and Hakhel, will provide an opportunity for the community to reflect on the remarkable events surrounding the rescue, express heartfelt thanks to the Ribbono Shel Olam, and draw inspiration from the powerful reminder of Hashem’s Hashgacha and protection.

The evening will feature divrei chizuk and hisorerus from Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, rov of Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin, and Rabbi Paysach J. Krohn, the renowned author and speaker. Both will address the significance of the miraculous events and the importance of recognizing and expressing gratitude for the extraordinary yeshuos witnessed.

Following the divrei chizuk, the gathering will continue with uplifting shiros v’sishbachos led by Sruly Williger and Shloime Dachs, giving attendees an opportunity to join together in song and heartfelt expressions of hoda’ah to Hakadosh Boruch Hu.

The event will take place at Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin, located at 2913 Avenue L in Brooklyn, beginning at 9:00 p.m. and concluding at approximately 10:15 p.m.

The asifah is open to both men and women.

At a time when Klal Yisroel continues to face challenges and uncertainty, the gathering will offer an opportunity to unite in appreciation for the remarkable chassodim of Hashem and to strengthen the recognition that every yeshuah calls for heartfelt hoda’ah.

The organizers invite the entire community to participate in what promises to be a meaningful and inspiring evening of gratitude, chizuk, and song.
